8 Signs Our Eyes attempt to Tell Us About Our Overall Health

In fact, you know, we have an old proverb that says that the windows of the soul are the eyes. No one really has the source of this phrase, but nowadays we can definitely know that the eyes can tell us a lot about our health.

At Dockul, we decided to take the time to share these findings with you.

Having stye

If you have a pimple, you know the pain and irritation it causes. Constipation of the sebaceous glands creates lumps on the eyelids, which usually disappear within a few days, but persist and can cause serious discomfort.
If Stye appears frequently or persists for a long time, it may be a symptom of sebaceous gland cancer. If it cannot be cured or occurs in the same place, it is time to consult a doctor.

Infiltrated eyebrows

There are many reasons for eyebrow loss: aging, stress or nutritional deficiencies. Alopecia areata, or baldness, may be another cause, although it does not affect more than 0.1% of the population.

A more reasonable cause of eyebrow loss is hypothyroidism – a severe deficiency of thyroid hormones that can lead to hair loss in extreme cases. Therefore, if your hair is getting thinner and thinner, it is best to see a doctor and have your thyroid checked.

Blurred vision

Many of us spend hours on the computer at home or in the office, which can lead to eye burns or blurred vision. Nowadays, this is so common that there is a term in medical practice to describe vision problems associated with the long-term use of computers, mobile phones or electronic books: “Digital Eye Fatigue” or “Eye Syndrome”. If you detect these symptoms, please consult your doctor to find out how to solve the problem.

If you have such symptoms that are all too familiar, call your doctor to determine the cause.

Puffy eyes

We have all already seen that our eyes seem to betray us. We rasp them or blink a few winks and our vision seems to become clear again. However, if you still feel that your eyes are swollen, this may be a symptom of thyroid disease (or baseline dow). This means your thyroid is overactive.
Difficulty closing your eyes is one of the symptoms that can lead to puffy eyes. This happens in 30% of cases. If you notice something similar, see your doctor immediately.

Yellow and white

We look at ourselves in the mirror every day, so it is unlikely that we will miss this question.

Diabetics need to pay particular attention to their health, and sight is one of the things they pay special attention to.
